Christian Saxenhammer is Managing Partner of Saxenhammer.

Christian gained his first M&A experience as he successfully sold his family's engineering company at the age of 21. Having studied European business in the UK and Germany, Christian joined the restructuring practice of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Following a tenure at Lincoln International, where he headed as Managing Director the Special Situations Group, Christian founded Saxenhammer as an M&A boutique focusing on mid market, cross-border transactions in 2006. Since then, he and his team have advised on more than 250 M&A and debt transactions across all major industries in Germany. A special expertise exists in cross-border distressed M&A transactions.

Christian is among the most experienced investment bankers in Germany and regularly publishes articles about corporate finance topics. He currently authors a soon be published guide on private placements.
