Saxenhammer & Co. appoints Dr. Nicholas Hanser as a new Partner. He will be in charge of the newly opened Munich office focused on tech and growth transactions.
The leading investment banking boutique Saxenhammer & Co. today announced that Dr. Nicholas Hanser has joined as a Partner, Head of Technology Investment Banking and will specialize in technology and growth transactions. Dr. Nicholas Hanser has more than 14 years of experience in international corporate finance and investment banking with companies such as Credit Suisse, Jefferies, BNP Paribas and Bryan Garnier in Zurich, London, Frankfurt and Munich. Nicholas holds a PhD in Economics and Management and a Masters in Management from ESCP Europe and a Masters of Science from Cass Business School in London. Dr. Nicholas Hanser led numerous transactions in the technology and healthcare sector, including most recently the IPO of Scout24 (€ 1.025 billion), the capital increases for MorphoSys (€ 115 million) and Medigene (€ 48 million) and the private placement for Tado (€ 50 million) U.S$). The Technology Investment Banking team will focus on M&A, fundraising and advisory transactions for growth companies and will be based in Berlin and the newly created Munich office.
